The Alliance for Global Health Innovation (AfGHI), is an Atlanta, Georgia-based non-profit committed to improving health outcomes for lower resource communities locally, nationally and globally. Recently, President and CEO, Jennie Ward-Robinson, PhD., who also serves as Director of Global Health Partnerships for the Institute for Global Health, University of Massachusetts- Amherst, joined dozens of scientists and researchers to address the global implications of COVID-19 on the world’s research community.
Hosted by the National Academy Science Engineering Medicine (NASEM), the series, "NASEM Forum on Postsecondary Response to COVID-19: How can researchers help the national response efforts?" featured six panels of scientists and researchers who tackled multiple topics including What are the implications of this being a truly global event where Dr. Ward-Robinson and other leading researchers presented.
