Who We Are

Alliance for Global Health Innovation (AfGHI) is an independent 501(c)3, U.S. registered nonprofit organization supporting the advancement of health for people in the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. The Foundation is led by an independent volunteer Board of Trustees and its day-to-day work is carried out primarily through partnerships guided by a small operating staff in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Foundation advances its mission by convening and aligning stakeholders across sectors; engaging multi-sectoral partners; bridging private and public sectors; assembling knowledge and expertise on needs and solutions; catalyzing and integrating innovative thought and dialogue; securing and applying commitments in support of well-defined strategies involving innovation and system change; and sustaining progress via reporting, communication and ongoing planning.


The mission of the of the Alliance for Global Health Innovation is to promote and improve the health and well-being of populations, communities, and individuals. To fulfill this mission, we are guided by an integrated model for change.  Through this model we foster and engage collaborations among public health stakeholders within the public, private and civil society communities. Guiding our mission is our commitment to education, research, and public service.


Our work will accelerate access to innovative health care solutions to improve and sustain the health of all people.
